“For me there was no reason to read this book, I just did because it was recommended. In the beginning I didn't expect much of a free online book, but that changed quickly. By the turn of every page I recognized more of myself and my old ingrained patterns. In the end I can say it was a revelation and it had a lasting effect on me. Not easy to follow sometimes if you have never paid much attention to the topic. But definitely worth a read. I might read it again.”

“A refreshingly grounded approach to spirituality from an unknown author. Well written and thought out, a pleasure to read.”
— Walter
“It is not really a self-help book, but then again it is once you realize that only you can help yourself by shifting your perception of what really happens. How We Are Here gave me the necessary kick to see this clearly. Thank you!”

“Many parallels to existing teachings. I can definitely sense some Eckhart Tolle and Alan Watts in there. Interesting and slightly different approach though. Appealing.”
— Bernd
“Wow this is deep. Unexpectedly this little book took me to the bottom of my soul, if you can call it that. It has definitely changed the way I look at things.”
— Alex
“This book is spiritual and not spiritual at the same time. The author takes meticulous care to include members of every conviction in his arguing. And he does so successfully. I find it brilliant.”
— Arthur
“What felt repetitive at first has, over time, become one of the book’s strengths. I find myself reading a chapter before going to sleep or after waking up. It seems to alter my state of being not only through its words and meaning, but also through the pace and rhythmic cadence of the contemplative prose. It leaves me in a better place.”
